Q. How do I learn about bringing the Students Helping Our World fundraising program to my school?

A. Simply go to the “Contact Us” section of this website, provide us with your contact information and a representative will be in touch with you promptly.

Q. How easy is it to manage this program?

A. The program was specifically designed to be easy to implement. Our online approach eliminates almost all of the administrative, tracking and other work. No merchandise to sort and distribute. No checks to collect, count or handle. The timing of the program is flexible, starting and stopping according to your needs.

Q. What makes S.H.O.W. such a good program to use at my school?

A. There are a variety of reasons. The program was designed to meet the needs of PTO/PTA volunteers, teachers and principals, all busy people who are trying to help their students’ schools while still keeping up with there many other responsibilities. The 3 things we focused on are:

• Making it easy to implement
• Making it a profitable fundraiser
• And creating a program that engages students positively in the world around them.

Student and Parent Questions

Q. What if someone I want to ask for support doesn’t have a computer?

A. You can call them and enter their order for them. When you call them you can tell them how you are helping the environment while helping your school. Then you can use the link in the email we sent you to get to the contribution page and complete the order.

Q. Why is it best to use the email tool for students to contact their friends, family and other supporters?

A. There are several advantages.

• One is that it makes it easy to provide a description in a flyer type format, that encourages people to participate in your fundraising program. It also has a link and instructions back to the website contribution page.
• It allows you to put your own message at the beginning of the email so it can still be personal
• It can simplify your work by letting you send out multiple emails with one message.

Q. What if I want to send out individual messages?

A. You can do that too. You just forward our prepared email flyer the way you would do with any email and type in your personal message at the top.

Q. How will I know when I made a sale?

A. We will notify you by email.

Visitor and contributor questions

Q. How will I know that my order was placed properly.

A. You will receive email confirmation from PayPal, the company that will be processing our orders.

Q. Do I need a PayPal account?

A. No. They also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. Most of our orders use one of these cards.

Q. Is the transaction secure?

A. Yes. PayPal is well known for processing millions of transactions for eBay as well as a multitude of other businesses. Our website uses secure technology known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL encrypts the information you input before it is sent to us via the Internet. In addition, all of the information we collect from you on our Web site is secured against unauthorized access.
