Linx Fundraising LLC (“Linx”) respects the privacy of every person who visits our sites or responds to our interactive communication. This Privacy Statement outlines the information Linx will collect and how we will use that information. SSL encrypts the information you input before it is sent to us via the Internet. In addition, all of the information we collect from you on our Web site is secured against unauthorized access. Credit card numbers used in online transactions are processed through PayPal, a credit card gateway. They do not provide Linx with the ability access to your credit card number or to store it.

Children

Linx, due to the nature of the school fundraising business, does anticipate access by children to this website. Instructions provided to schools (participating in Linx Fundraising’s Students Helping Our World fundraising program), for communication to the students and parents, as well as our registration page and other communications, all call for parents to participate jointly with their children. Individual student’s information (name, grade, teacher, class, school, email address etc.) are used for the purpose of ensuring that orders placed by the student’s “customers” are credited to the right individual student. In addition, information is used in the process of providing information and tools necessary to the operation of the program.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information Collected Automatically

In some cases, we may collect information about you that is not personally identifiable. Examples of this type of information include the type of Internet Browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the site from which you linked to our site or other interactive communication. We use this information for the purposes of better understanding our customer's interests and to help improve our business, services and sites.
